Håller med dig Guy. Mike Wise skriver också följande på Apistogramma.com:
"There are 2 agassizii-complex species found in the Rio Tefé. The true A. agassizii is found near the mouth of the river. The other species, A. sp. Tefé (= A. cf. agassizii (Tefé) or A. sp. aff. agassizii (Tefé)) is found farther up the river and in tributaries entering the Lago Tefé. It is also found in the Rio Catuá. Cross breedings (accidental & on purpose) produce classic apisto hybrid characteristics and indicate that the 2 forms are separate species.
The problem is with commercial suppliers. They use the name "A. cf. agassizii (Rio Tefé) for both species. Usually the fish are A. sp. Tefé, buts sometimes they are A. agassizii (Tefé)."
